Movies have the Oscars, TV has the Emmy's, Broadway has the Tony Awards, and at last - long overdue - Catholics have THE UNITY AWARDS! The second annual Unity Awards will be held at the prestigious Hartke Theatre on the Catholic University campus in Washington, D.C. on December 1, 2001. Voting will be made by the UCMVA members, and will acknowledge top albums, artists, videos, songs, and groups.

The Unity Awards Day will be filled with day long events for its members with an evening Unity Award Program. This will be the second time in history that this type of event has taken place, and will continue each year bringing attention to those artists who have labored in the vineyard. Winning entries will be chosen by the UCMVA Membership Body.
